Disciples Peace Fellowship Intern

The Outdoor Ministry Committee (OMC) is excited to announce that Briana Black from Wyoming will be attending CYF camp, June 27-July 4 as a Disciples Peace Fellowship Intern.  Early in the spring we applied to receive one of the three interns that will be traveling the US this summer and attending many regional camps and conferences.  We are very lucky and blessed to have this opportunity for our high school youth to meet a young adult with the credentials listed below and her strong commitments to peace work.  We know our youth will learn and grow from Briana's contributions.

Young Adults to attend General Assembly Need You Help

There are three young adults from the region who desire to attend General Assembly this year in Cincinnati.  As this is typically an "adult" occasion (and often an "adult" over 50 occasion), it is awesome that the region could have a few young adults going!  Haley Stump, Jordan Williams and Jessica Williams of Selma have established a GoFundMe account to solicit donations.
