Organizing for Congregational Renewal

January 19-24, 2014

PSR (Pacific School of Religion) and IAF (Bay Area Industrial Areas Foundation) to offer a class on how faith communities can come together, build relationships, and create a body that can have power and influence in local community governments and policies to shape social justice and keep important issues in the forefront.  This is a strong, collaborative model for small churches to have purpose and focus in community mission and justice.  Some funds may be available for lay leaders through the Doris McCullough Leader Development grant.

Prayers for Windell Pew and family as his wife, Lois, passed away on December 15 after a long struggle and many weeks in the hospital. Wendell Pew, former Chico pastor, was at her side.  Lois was a frequent song leader at assemblies and retreats.

Cards can be sent to Wendell Pew at 25731 Windjammer Dr., San Juan Capistrano CA 92675

We are all deeply saddened by her loss, but are comforted that she is finally resting peacefully.
