WHAT IS AN INDUCTION CEREMONY?

Each Spring, El Viento invites 4th graders from Oak View Elementary School to apply for participation in our program.  After a thorough screening process, we accept 25 students into program.  This group of students is referred to as a "Flight."  

Once our Flight is chosen, we have an induction ceremony where they are formally admitted to El Viento in front of their family, friends, and supporters.

This year, we are inducting two Flights at the same time;  Flight 13, our fifth graders, and Flight 14 our fourth graders.
