Letter from the President
We had our first ever Investor Appreciation Luncheon at General Conference in Nashville.  It was a great success!  Both investors and pastors who have loans with the UPC Loan Fund commented on how much the event meant to them.
Rev. Stephen M. Drury

We want to thank the investors who spoke, Rev. Ron Phillips, Rev. Ralph Buie, and Brother J.M. Overman. Each one had a great testimony of why they chose to invest in the Loan Fund.  Some brought tears to our eyes who were so passionate about helping our churches expand their ministry and win more souls.  Some have even taken less returns on their investments to accomplish ministry goals.

Thanks should also go to those pastors who spoke about how the Loan Fund gave them opportunity to build new buildings, acquire new facilities and remodel.  Those who made presentations were Pastor Wayne Collins, Pastor Brent Watts, Pastor Jerry Tipton, Pastors Daniel & Rose Phaeton, and Pastor Roderick Anderson.

The $20 million mark in investments was achieved when we returned to the office and recorded new investments made during the week of General Conference.  We have reached another major milestone in our history as a fund.  We appreciate the confidence of all our investors.  As of this date we do not have one loan payment even one day late.  We are thankful for our investors as well as our faithful pastors and churches who have loans with the UPC Loan Fund.

New Doors are Opening at Open Door

Pastor Chris Meehan of Open Door Apostolic Church in Fort Pierce, Florida shares the exciting story of "new doors" of opportunity being opened to his congregation through a loan with UPCLF.
The new Open Door Apostolic Church

"We had been in a store front location since late 2000. We had our share of struggles and ups and downs. We continued to believe God and look for ways that we could be more effective at spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

When this property first went up for sale (somewhere around 2007), some of our men gathered on site and walked about the property. We joined hands and prayed that, if it be the will of God, we could purchase this property and use it for His glory. At the time, there was no way that we could afford it. They were asking $800,000, and we couldn't afford a loan for $200,000.

We watched all our options in the county, but nothing else viable seemed to arise.

Little by little, the seller began to come down on the price.  And in 2015, the seller dropped the price to $375,0000. In negotiations, they came down to $340,000. The United Pentecostal Church Loan Fund worked with us, and we discovered this was something that we could do!

After many years of walking by faith, God made a way and tremendously blessed our church with our own facility! We are truly aligned to impact our community with this Apostolic message!

We are so immensely excited and expectant to see great things for the kingdom of God! We are believing Jesus Christ to see hundreds changed by this old fashioned Apostolic message that is still state of the art for this generation!

We are forever grateful to Jesus Christ for making a way for us!

We are also so thankful for the UPCI Loan Fund who has effectively made this possible! I don't know how this could have ever worked out without them!"
