Breads Bakery is open. Get your babka!
The wait is over! Breads Bakery is now open for business at its new location right here in Lincoln Square at 1886 Broadway between 62nd and 63rd Street.

Breads Bakery is best known for fresh breads and pastries, including the now legendary chocolate babka, delicious rugelach, and tasty cheese straws. But the new location will serve more than just pastries.  selection of sandwiches, salads, and spreads are also available. What's more, you can enjoy your lunch or coffee break inside at one of their bistro tables or at their outside cafe area when the weather warms.

The Secret Garden at Lincoln Center
On Sunday, February 21 and Monday, February 22 the TONY Award-winning musical The Secret Garden is coming to David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center. Presented by Manhattan Concert Productionsboth concert performances of The Secret Garden will feature over 200 singers, the New York City Chamber Orchestra; and a full Broadway cast. 

The musical is based on the 1911 novel of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Orphaned while living in India, 10 year-old Mary Lennox returns to England to live with her reclusive uncle Archibald. There she learns of a secret garden which belonged to her aunt Lily before she died. Mary's search for the garden introduces her to a slew of characters including a spirited robin that seems to be trying to talk to her. This compelling tale of forgiveness and hope reveals that even the cruelest of environments can blossom with new life. The lyrics are by Marsha Norman, with music by Lucy Simon. 

Tickets begin at $50 and may be purchased via lincolncenter.org; by calling CenterCharge (212) 721- 6500; or visiting the David Geffen Hall box office at 10 Lincoln Center Plaza (Columbus Avenue at 65th Street). A 20% discount to groups of 15 or more is available.
Rock n' Shop at Kaufman Music Center
On Wednesday, March 2 you can pick up some off-beat trinkets while you listen to equally unique music and comedy. Rock n' Shop, Bushwick's first pop up alternative mall, is bringing its unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience to Kaufman Music Center for the 2016 Ecstatic Music Festival

Visitors can spend the day perusing through Star Wars-inspired hand-made chocolates, hand-printed and vintage clothing, artisanal hot sauce and BBQ sauce, rock and metal-inspired jewelry, homemade falafel pizza, original art work, and a large selection of vinyl records. Plus, visitors can enjoy free live music and comedy performances in the lobby of Merkin Concert Hall.

Rock n' Shop is free and open to the public from noon to 5:30pm on Wednesday, March 2. Ecstatic Music Festival ticketholders will have exclusive access from 6:45pm to 9:30pm. Fast fashion February: spring ahead to 2016 trends

Though this February's Fashion Week, which included a great show for Tory Burch's F/W 16 Collection at David Geffen Hall on Lincoln Center's Campus, is almost over, you don't have to give up on trend watching and outfit inspiration until the next show.
