Bookkeeping For The Cause

Are you a bookkeeper with a few hours a week to share to help us empower children and families to be self reliant? If so, read on!

Good bookkeeping and reporting is the backbone of any successful organization. As a result of our phenomenal growth in the past two years, Xela AID has just completed a transition to a more sophisticated bookkeeping system. We seek a bookkeeper to join our team and to contribute approximately two hours each week.

The right candidate will be an experienced bookkeeper with references, retired or working. The right individual will have experience with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online, and will have a heart for service. The person will be able to volunteer hours from the comfort of their own home, or from our Long Beach office (located in the Wells Fargo building on Ocean). If you volunteer at the office, your parking will be paid. Because of the training involved, we are asking for a minimum 18-month commitment.

The perks are many: You would become part of a winning team and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are key to helping some of the world's most underserved people become self reliant through best-practices administration of Xela AID's health, education, small business development, clean water and emergency aid programs.

Those interested should write to or call Leslie at leslie@xelaaid.org, or (951) 733-2588. Search will close as soon as a volunteer is identified.

 Warmly,
Leslie Baer Dinkel Signature
