A Children's World of Play  Join us Saturday, May 22nd for the second annual "A Children's World of Play" from 12 - 3 p.m.
at ImaginOn.
This free event teaches children about the games, music and traditions of other countries.

International House Paralegal Obtains BIA Certification
International House is pleased to announce that Laura Young, a paralegal in our Immigration Law Clinic has achieved accreditation from the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). This designation is the Department of Justice's certification of charitable immigration agencies and staff, and allows non-attorney staff to practice immigration law before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the immigration courts. Our Clinic and both of our paralegals now have achieved this accreditation.

Celebrating the Music of Poetry
Jonathan Rice, Editor and Publisher of Iodine Poetry Journal, always thought it would be a good idea to host an international poetry night. He dreamed of having numerous people from various countries presenting their work not only in English but in their native tongue as well.
Rice's dream came true when he and International House's Lara Printz collaborated to create the International Poetry Night.
International House hosted the International Poetry Night on Friday, April 23rd to a wonderful audience. We thank you for your participation at the event. |
