Safe Environment:

The requirements have changed. All volunteers must have clearances that are no older than three years old. Fingerprints must be done if you live outside of the state of PA or if you have not lived in the State of PA for at least the last 10 consecutive years.

To be safe, I would recommend that all parents who intend to volunteer, including chaperones and lunch monitors get their fingerprints done. Fingerprints can be done at Penndel Hardware, the I.U. and other places listed on the cogent web site. No one will be allowed to enter the school if clearances are not up-to- date.

Full details and links will be on our web site within the next week. If you are not sure about the dates on your clearances, please email me (siprincipal@sischool.org) and I can check my list. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
