WOGA is building a strong foundation for Womens and Girl's Golf in Oklahoma!

The Women's Oklahoma Golf Association just received approval today from the LPGA as the sponsoring and affiliated 501c3 organization for the new LPGA-USGA Girl's Golf Chapter of Tulsa. The program focuses on introducing young girls to the game of golf and keeping them involved in a highly social environment. Maggie Roller, Class A LPGA Teaching Professional and former University of Tulsa Golfer will be the site director for the chapter. A special thank you to Pat McCrate, Head Golf Professional at LaFortune Park Golf Course in Tulsa for allowing WOGA to conduct the chapter at LaFortune Park GC in Tulsa. The 2015 plan includes hosting clinics one Saturday per month beginning in March of 2015. The Tulsa Chapter will serve as a pilot program for other possible chapters in Oklahoma. It is the mission of the Women's Oklahoma Golf Association to promote the game of golf for Women and Girls in Oklahoma. Advisory Board Members for the new chapter include Emily Klein, Stacy Prammadasudh Upton, Janice Gibson, Janet Miller, Lew Erickson, Pat McCrate, Kathy West, Leigh Ann Fore, Laurie Campbell, Maggie Roller and Sheila Dills.

LeeAnn Fairlie, 2014 WOGA Senior State Champion

Congratulations to LeeAnn Fairlie for capturing her second WOGA State Senior Championship. Results can be found HERE

Also, a special congratulations to Ann Turner for winning the Super Senior Division. Ann is an inspiration to all.
YUJEONG SON WINS HER FIRST AJGA CHAMPIONSHIP!
Defending WOGA State Amateur and WOGA Girls' Junior Champion Yujeong Son has captured her first AJGA Championship win. Yujeong fired a 6 under par 207 on the Pumpkin Ridge Ghost Course in North Plains, Oregon earlier this month. Yujeong birdied the last 2 out of three holes to capture the AJGA Junior All-Star Title. Congratulations Yujeong, we are very proud of you!

PRIZE CERTIFICATE NOTIFICATION
Please note there were a few errors on some of the prize certificates this year. For all certificates won this year, the deadline for redeeming with pro shops is 11/15/2014. The deadline for pro shops to send to the WOGA treasurer for redemption is 12/15/14. Some may say 2015. These must be redeemed in 2014. Congratulations to all of our 2014 winners!
