VEISHEA STEM Festival
We invite our STEM partners to share an authentic STEM experience with youth and families who attend Iowa State University's annual VEISHEA celebration. The North Central STEM Festival is an integral part of the 2013 VEISHEA Village with events taking place across ISU's campus on Saturday, April 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All STEM businesses/ organizations will be housed in area referred to as VEISHEA Main Street, that connects STEM education to the private sector.
This is a perfect opportunity for your organization to promote STEM education in general and to explicitly promote your business or organization.
The typical fees for businesses to participate in VEISHEA Main Street will be waived for STEM business, industry and organizations that elect to participate.
Our intent is that participants will have the opportunity to experience "real world" STEM activities that will foster more interest in STEM programs.
To learn more, contact Lynne Campbell at lynnec@iastate.edu or (515) 710-1381.
