The Fashion Institute of Technology and Size Stream partner in 3D Body Scanning
Size Stream is excited to announce that our New York City demonstration site will be located at the Fashion Institute of Technology, a campus of the State University of New York. In a cooperative agreement, a Size Stream 3D body scanner will be placed at FIT for the educational and research efforts of FIT students and faculty. In addition, by appointment, the Size Stream 3D scanner will be made available for demonstrations. It is expected that the scanner will be installed and available by the end of April. "FIT is pleased to participate with SizeStream in bringing mass-customization advanced digital technology, computerized integration subsystems and mapping technologies into our classes, aiding in our advanced research and providing faculty the needed tools to enhance the future workforce of the U.S.," said Steven Frumkin, dean for the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology at FIT." Given the apparel and retail sectors' career growth worldwide and FIT's global reputation for innovation and thought leading solutions, FIT and Size Stream are well partnered to teach and share this 3 D Body Scanning technology."
