Tempo Insecticide

There is no greater household insecticide available to the public than Tempo. The 11.8% Beta-cyfluthrin works on everything imaginable.  From ticks, fleas, roaches, spiders, scorpion and yes, even grasshoppers, give Tempo a try.  A two ounce bottle makes two gallons, enough to spray the outside and inside of the average home.

Happy Easter from Eagle Hardware!! Give thanks for He Has Risen. May the promise of Easter fill your heart with peace and joy. We hope you enjoyed the day celebrating with your friends and family!

We had a fabulous turnout at our Chick & Wild Bird Workshop last month. Your support at our events continues to amaze me! Well, we have 2 more big workshops coming up in the spring: Garden Workshop on April 16 and a Pond Workshop with the Pond Boss, Bob Lusk speaking on May 14! Read more about both events below and please RSVP.

The fish truck arrives again on Saturday, April 18, from 9am - 10am. Please note that they've told us they can only be at our store for an hour. You may consider calling to pre-order your fish.

We appreciate your business.  See you soon!

Advice from an Aggie : The Easter Egg Hunt at Eagle Hardware

I thought I'd never admit to it but I must.  I must admit before a group of my peers (well, you at least) an addiction.  Yes, I'm sad to say, I am addicted to light night TV.  I can't stop watching it.  He is soooo funny.  Jimmy Kimmel is the funniest and most entertaining man I have ever watched.  Not to offend you Carson lovers but Kimmel...well, he ROCKS! (Do I sound hip yet?) If you are not familiar with some of his antics on his show, some of them are absolutely hilarious.  Always clean and never vulgar.  One that I enjoy is when he asks parents to hide all their kids Halloween candy and video them as they ...

Garden Up :: Green Up :: Garden Workshop

Ever wanted to start a project and simply feel overwhelmed?  When it comes to lawn care and gardening, more do than don't.  There just seems to be so much to it.  What to trim?  When to trim?  How to trim?  Grass.  What should I plant?  How much do I plant?  Do I fertilize it or wait?  Weeds.  Is this a weed or not?  And I'm not even touching on anything related to vegetable gardening.  Good thing is, Eagle Hardware is here to help.  We do not expect you to know ...

Sulfur for Snakes

Though the debate continues as to the true effectiveness of sulfur as a snake repellent, I would challenge those who doubt its use as a slithering reptilian repellant to speak to those who've used it for years.  Sulfur has been used to deter snakes from getting too close to those who don't care for the creature for generations.  Spread around the home, farm or wherever snakes are unwanted, sulfur seems to keep them at bay and away. Then, there is the "proven" effectiveness sulfur has on fleas, ticks, and chiggers.   There is nothing more miserable than those little red bumps that itch for eternity.  To this day I remember playing on the lawn July 4th with my cousins in ...
