Fish Truck

It's spring and time to stock your pond! Eagle Hardware Farm and Ranch will host a fish truck from Stock My Pond on Saturday, March 14 from 9:00 - 11:00am.

The fish truck will have channel cat, large mouth bass, black crappie, bluegill, hybrid bluegill, red ear bream, and fathead minnows.  The fish truck provides containers for all fish but the 11 inch channel cats, so please bring your own containers for them.

It is not necessary to pre-order the fish, but if you are looking for a large quantity or a particular breed, we suggest you call.  Questions?  Give us a call at 972-635-7878.

Burn Barrels

As crazy as it sounds, one of our top selling items is the 'ol traditional burn barrel.  Stop by today and pick yours up.  Only $10!

It's March and that means spring arrives this month. Our focus turns outside with gardening, lawn care, chickens and ponds. Make sure you check out our list of upcoming workshops on the left.

We had our first workshop of the year last month and it was filled with fun, laughs, and lots of good information. Thank you all 25 women who turned out for our 2nd Annual Ladies Night Out. Of course, we are already talking about doing it again next year!

Pond owners (and all those folks that have been asking), the fish truck will make it's first appearance in our parking lot on Saturday morning, March 14. Read more below.

We appreciate your business.  See you soon!

Advice from an Aggie : The Bachelor Show Visits Union Valley

I don't know about you but I'm done, finished, fineto, fertig, over it, want to move on, tired and am so ready for it to leave. You know what I am talking about.  I know you do. And, if there is a one of you who wants to hang on to Mr. Cold Winter, let me help make an appointment with a shrink on your behalf. In fact, reality still hasn't sunk in for him, "Cold, I'm sorry you didn't receive a rose. Take a moment and say your good byes"!  Make it quick and please, not so much drama in your exit. We like spring and can't wait to spend more time with her. She's nice, sunny, warm, makes things grow, we get to go outside, go for walks. You get the picture, now bye bye ...

Chicken & Wild Bird Workshop : March 18, 6:30pm

As many of you have participated and experienced, Eagle Hardware Farm and Ranch has hosted a number of workshops in the past to help educate our customers and community.  Topics have ranged from cattle to chicks to cucumbers.  We have been overwhelmed at the response and plan on building on them in 2015.  One of the most popular is the Chicken and Wild Bird Workshop March 18 at 6:30 pm  ...
Garden Up :: Green Up :: Garden Workshop

Though it may be difficult to wrap one's brain around gardening right now, it is the time to begin thinking in that direction.  Granted, "difficult" may be putting it lightly.  Even now, there is a sheet of snow and ice covering all that one sees.  Winter may still be here but spring is soon to follow.  Promise. After one of the longest and coldest winter in years, the time has finally  ...

Now is the Time : Wind & Rain Hi-Mag Mineral

As grasses will soon grow, so does your cattle's need for magnesium.  With the fresh green grasses of spring, cattle can develop what is known as Grass Tetany.  Grass Tetany is a metabolic disorder when cattle do not have enough magnesium in their system and can be fatal.  It is easily spotted as cattle will act nervous or have trouble walking.  It is preventable.  An easy prevention is to provide Purina Wind and Rain High Magnesium Cattle Minerals for consumption.
