This spring has been very busy around Eagle Hardware and it looks as though it will not slow down soon. We are very grateful for your continued patronage. Speaking of busy, the Risinger family grew over the weekend. Once again, I am a very proud dad. How fitting that it is Father's Day in a couple weeks! Thank you to all that attended the Horse Owners Workshop on May 13. We were pleased with the turnout and especially enjoyed the live horse body scoring demo. Next up is our Cattle Raisers Workshop and Lunch on Tuesday, June 24 at 12:00pm. Read more about it below.
Peaches will be here in June. Look for the "Fresh Peaches" banner out front when they arrive and you'll know to pull over and stop!
Once again, our newsletter readers can save on their next purchase with the coupon attached at the bottom.
We appreciate your business. See you soon!

Advice from an Aggie : A Proud Daddy
It is finished. Oh if you've ever been in a church service around Easter, I'm sure you've heard the phrase and know who said it. If not or having trouble remembering who, let me help. It was Jesus. Stop! But keep reading please. Don't worry, I'm not about to share with you my next eloquent words I usually communicate on Sunday mornings. I'll spare you that. HOWEVER, I did find myself thinking that this evening, as I concluded performing the wedding ceremony of Andrew and my new daughter-in-law, Hayden. In fact I waited long enough for them to get out of ... |

Cattle Raisers Workshop : Tuesday, June 24
Are you a cattle raiser? We have a workshop for you! Save the date and RSVP soon. Please join us on Tuesday, June 24 at 12pm in The Barn @ Eagle Hardware Farm and Ranch for our Cattle Raisers Workshop and Luncheon. Cattle prices continue to be at an all-time high, yet at the same time so is the price of hay. With more and more people being selective on herd population and deciding to get into or out of the cattle business, there is an ever increasing demand to be as effective as possible for those raising cattle. We do not want to just sell cattle feed, we also want to be a resource for all of our cattle customers. Dr Larry Kimberlin of Crossroads Veterinary Clinic in Greenville will be our speaker. He will give a brief overview of effective worming and vaccination programs for our herds. We will also have feed specialists from Purina Mills as well as Lone Star Feeds. Also, other vendors in the cattle industry will attend as well to show and answer questions regarding their products.
Lunch catered by Richards Smokehouse is included, so please RSVP on your next visit, by calling the store at 972-635-7878, or clicking the link below. |
A Happy Pet is a Flea Free Pet
May I see a hand (or paw) of who likes fleas? None. I didn't think so. Fleas have been one of those creatures God created that many have wondered His sanity. Though not to question His sanity, for surely there is a reason for them. However finding them on our beloved family pet or around the house can cause our sanity to be tested. Eagle Hardware Farm and Ranch has good news! We can help with flea control. You will find everything you need to not only keep your sanity, but those flying fens at bay. Household insecticides like Tempo and Demon work phenomenally ...

Septic Maintenance : It's ALL About Being a Good Neighbor
If you are reading this newsletter, the chances of you having a septic system are high. It is just part of who we are, living in the country as we do. We don't have the luxury of paying for a municipality to dispose of our waste. Nope, we get to do it in our backyards. As crude as it seems, over the years residential sewer systems have, actually, come a long way. No longer do we just have a brick and mortar cisterns with lateral lines stretching yards long. Nor do we have the inherent problems of bygone years as those cisterns would collapse or the lateral lines clog up with roots and rodents. Fortunately for families in the country things are better...
