Dear Kid's Creek Family,
It's the most Wonderful Time of the Year! There is excitement in the air. The kids are all abuzz about gifts and getting out of school. The parents are well...trying to keep it all together! In the midst of the busyness that many times comes with this time of year, we hope that you will pause for some peace. Kid's Creek was excited to offer a recent opportunity for parents to have some peace (or maybe just some unsupervised shopping) during our Holiday Parent's Night out this past Saturday evening. Our clinic was full with 40 little ones (including siblings) for this event. Watch for other opportunities such as this one and exciting upcoming events in the New Year. And speaking of the New Year...there will be much celebrating going on at Kid's Creek. Watch for invitations and announcements as we prepare to celebrate in a big way our 10th year Anniversary! As you and your family prepare for the end of the year or prepare for family celebrations we send you our warmest and most heartfelt wishes for peace, prosperity and joy in your hearts!
Many Blessings to You and Yours!

Justin Dozier
While organizing and preparing for this past weekend's Holiday Event at Kid's Creek I was blessed to encounter many people who were willing to donate their time and energy to helping me making the event a success for our kiddos and their families. That being said, no offer of help was more more respected and appreciated than that of Justin Dozier, a client here at Kids Creek. Justin approached me in the clinic last Wednesday and asked if he could come help out at the holiday event. After sharing details about the evening planned, he still seemed interested and said that he would speak with his mom and dad to see if it would work out with his family's schedule. When Justin arrived on Saturday afternoon, he came armed with a genuine smile and an enthusiasm to serve. From the moment he arrived to the moment he left Justin was an incredibly huge help. He served as my right hand man: making rounds to all of the groups to see if they needed anything, preparing and helping me deliver snacks to the volunteers and children, and even making several guest appearances in the music room with Miss Melanie, sharing his talent for playing the guitar. Justin never stopped moving the whole night, but what was even more impressive than his work ethic was the incredible signs of leadership that I saw in him throughout the night. Justin was never too busy working to stop and make a child smile, encourage a volunteer, ensure that everyone's needs were being met and come up with great new ideas to make our event even more successful. He was a positive light throughout the evening and made an impact on every child and adult that he came into contact with. Justin- thank you for being such an important part of our event and for reminding all of us what it looks like to be a true leader. Your positive attitude, awesome work ethic and your talent for seeing ( and expressing!) the best in people is going to take you very far in life. The staff here at Kid's Creek can't wait to see the positive impact you are going to continue to have on the world around you.
Sincerely,
"Miss Megan" and the entire Kids Creek Therapy Staff
