Executive board meets this month
 
We ask for your prayers for the executive board, which meets Oct. 22-24 in Minneapolis. The agenda includes a bus tour of Minneapolis, the site of our 2017 triennial convention and gathering, racial justice education, budgets for the Tenth Triennial Convention and Gathering, and stewardship training, among other items. Learn what happened at the board's April 2015 meeting.
'ALL ANEW' IS 2017 TENTH TRIENNIAL GATHERING THEME
  
"All Anew" is the theme for Women of the ELCA's Tenth Triennial Gathering in Minneapolis, Minn., July 13-16, 2017. The theme is supported by several biblical texts that speak of renewal. Read more
MEET YOUR TENTH TRIENNIAL GATHERING PROMOTERS  
 
Women of the ELCA has selected 15 women to serve as triennial gathering promoter (TGPs) for its July 13-16, 2017, event in Minneapolis. Training will take place in Minneapolis Nov. 6-8, and the women will be ready to serve in 2016. Read more
ENDING WORLD HUNGER BY 2030  
 
In a continuing effort to end world hunger, Linda Post Bushkofsky, executive director of Women of the ELCA, endorsed a faith statement (below) on behalf of the organization. The statement pledges to end world hunger by 2030. Read more
