Thursday, March 31, 2016  Elementary, middle and high school teacher will perform for their biggest fans - the students and their parents. Music, Dance & Comedy.  It will be an evening of entertainment for the whole family.  Show starts at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium at Conestoga.  Reserved seating - buy tickets now

Wednesday, March 30, 2016:  An Evening with Ricky Williams - Retired NFL Running Back and Heisman Trophy Winner.  LISTEN to the experience of Ricky Williams and others who are living fulfilling lives even though they have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.  LEARN how to bring their lessons into your own life.  LEAVE with a greater understanding of people living with anxiety. Sunday, April 17, 2016:  An exhilarating and challenging spring afternoon of athletic family fun to benefit Downingtown Communities That Care. The mission of CTC is to empower youth to make positive choices. This event is a unique day of exercise, bonding and giving to this organization while exploring the largest outdoor obstacle course in the country!  Open to the public - but space is limited and reservations are required.  (1-5pm, Route 401 & Deweese Lane, Chester Springs)   Link

Media, Messaging & Youth

Wednesday, April 20, 2016:  Michael Blanche, MSS, LCSW, a counselor specializing in adolescents and young adults, is well known for his insightful presentations that address the real-world challenges facing adolescents and young adults. He will share his observations about how our kids are being impacted by social media, the "misinformation highway," the access to substances online, and more.

The goal is to help navigate the damaging messages children are receiving, and the over-exposure to media and technology. They will also talk about how we can encourage a healthy balance with technology.  Open to the public. There is no charge to attend. Babysitting will be available. Not recommended for under 13.
