More than 75 people came out to hear Karen Moon, LCSW, and Kim Zahlaway, LCSW, talk about stress and anxiety and our teens/tweens. The event title was Is This Normal?

One of the strategies shared at the presentation on Anxiety... The 4-7-8 Breath, also referred to as "The Relaxing Breath" has been championed by Dr. Weill for years and is said to reduce anxiety, promote better sleep, and even help ward off food cravings. Link to an online demonstration.

We are a coalition of parents, educators and community members committed to promoting the well being of youth in Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships. We serve as a resource to families as they help their children form a positive self-image, make healthy choices, and reduce the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD).
