ARCH

Greetings!

T/E Shares Youth Survey Results

ARCH partners with the T/E School District to share the results of the 2011 PA Youth Survey (PAYS) on Drug and Alcohol Use. The presentation will be held...

Tuesday, April 16th, 2013,

7:30 pm at

Valley Forge Middle School

on Walker Road, in Wayne.

The PAYS survey is taken every other year by 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th graders in Pennsylvania. The T/E School District also surveys 9th graders to take a closer look at a pivotal time in a child's social development. The T/E School District conducts this survey on behalf of the community and a summary of the results will be presented on April 16.  The results will be available online as well. TESD is committed to informing all stakeholders (families, community groups as well as educators) of the most current results.  PAYS results for the last 10 years may be found on the ARCH website.  link

The PAYS survey measures the influence of the protective and risk factors influencing our teens' decisions.  Those factors are present in the community, the school, and most importantly, the family.  Michael Blanche, a licensed clinical social worker, is the second presenter that evening.  Mike will talk specifically about how parents can help prevent teen drug and alcohol use.

This event is open to the community.

Sincerely,

Your friends at ARCH
