Hello to Our New Team Member

Dedham Veterinary Associates welcomed Toni, a new general practice technician, in 2013. Toni is a Certified Veterinary Technician with 17 years of experience and a BS in veterinary science from Becker College.

In 2008, Toni was given the opportunity to go back to her alma mater-this time as a clinical instructor and staff veterinary technician-to help educate the next generation of vet techs.

She takes great pride in teaching and mentoring students, and she's proud to work for a company that welcomes veterinary technician students as interns.   "The students are able to further develop their skills and apply the knowledge learned in the classroom in a real-world environment," confirms Toni.  "Internships ultimately create more well-rounded technicians upon graduation."

When Toni is not working she enjoys hiking, bike riding, and spending time with her husband, two dogs, and three cats.  Toni is a strong supporter of animal adoption; all her furry children have been adopted from various rescue organizations.  Says Toni, "shelter animals deserve a second chance and a forever home."

Please welcome Toni the next time you see her around DVA!
