The Orleans Parish School Board will hold a Public Hearing on New Charter School Applications as well as its monthly Committee Meetings beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, in Suite 4050 of OPSB's Timbers Office Building, 3520 General DeGaulle Drive.

OPSBrief has summarized the agendas of the meetings below. Complete agendas and posted back-up documentation can be accessed here and via the links below. Committee Meetings may be convened up to 30 minutes prior to their posted times in order to facilitate the orderly conduct of business.

Committees typically review items prior to consideration at Board Business Meetings and review the progress of the implementation of items previously approved by the full Board. Committee Meetings and Public Hearings usually afford the public the best opportunities to formally comment on matters pending before the School District.
