Greetings!
The Jefferson Parish School Board will meet in Special Session Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 4 PM, at the Administration Building Boardroom, 501 Manhattan Blvd., Harvey, LA. This Meeting includes the topics previously scheduled for a Public Hearing at that time, as well as other matters. The agenda for the Special Session can be read here. - June 7 through 9, 2015
- Venue is LOD Cook Hotel and Conference Center at LSU, 3848 West Lakeshore Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808
- Proposed topics for the retreat include the following items:
- Team building and budget preparation
- Superintendent's goals and objectives
- Capital improvements
- Building new schools
- Dandridge compliance
- Technology (wireless upgrades)
- Status of pending lawsuits
- JPSB 2025 long-range plan
- Public comment period
- Citizens may speak on matters not on the agenda
- Must sign up to speak prior to the start of the meeting
The Special Session meeting will stream live at this link and air on JPS-TV (Cox cable channel 8 and AT&T U-verse channel 99) for citizens who cannot attend the meeting.
