The Orleans Parish School Board held its monthly Committee Meetings on Thursday, April 16 in Room 4050 of OPSB's Timbers III Office Building, 3520 General DeGaulle Drive.

Committees typically review and discuss items that will subsequently be presented to the full Board for its consideration at a Board Business Meeting. They also review the progress of the implementation of items previously approved by the Board. In general, the public's best opportunity to comment on items is at the Committee Meetings.

The next Board Business Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in the Mack Spears Auditorium of the McDonogh 35 High School, 1331 Kerlerec Street.

OPSBrief has summarized the agendas of each Committee Meeting below. To review the posted agenda and back-up documentation of any Committee, click on the Committee's name.

At the beginning of the Meetings, the Board welcomed its newest member, John Brown, Sr. of District 1.
