The Orleans Parish School Board held its monthly Board Business Meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the Mack Spears Auditorium of McDonogh 35 High School, 1331 Kerlerec Street. Prior to the Meeting, the Board conducted a
Public Hearing on Policy Matters at 4:45 p.m. The Board's
Orleans Schools Facilities Foundation, Inc. conducted a meeting of its Board at 4:30 p.m.

- OPSB failed to elect a replacement after three ballots
- Each ballot had 3 votes for John Brown and 3 votes for Happy Johnson
- If no one is elected by 10 days after vacancy occurs, appointment will be made by Governor
