The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education has scheduled a series of meetings on August 11, 12, and 13, 2014. The meetings include a BESE Retreat, a Public Hearing, Monthly BESE Committee Meetings, and the Monthly BESE Board Meeting.
All of the meetings will be held in the Claiborne Building, 1201 North Third Street, Baton Rouge 70802, in the rooms and at the times specified below. Meeting agendas and back-up documentation can be reviewed by clicking on the respective links where RSDigest has summarized the items below.
Meetings may be convened up to 30 minutes prior to posted times in order to facilitate the orderly flow of business. Public comment is usually most effective if made during the Committee Meetings.
