The Orleans Parish School Board cancelled its regular monthly Committee Meetings, scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2013, after failing to achieve a quorum for any of the Committees. Committees typically discuss issues that will later be considered by the full Board and review the progress of the implementation of items previously approved by the full Board. However, it is anticipated that items on the agendas of the cancelled Committee Meetings would instead be taken up at the next Board Business Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, at 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the McDonogh 35 High School, 1331 Kerlerec Street.
