The Orleans Parish School Board held a Public Hearing for the FY 2014 Proposed Consolidated Budget on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in the Auditorium of McDonogh 35 High School. After the Hearing, OPSB held its regular monthly Business Meeting, in the same location.

On Thursday, August 22, 2013, the Board will conduct a Surplus Property Auction at 10:00 a.m. from its Timbers III Office Building, 3520 General DeGaulle Drive. Information on the auction can be accessed here. By OPSB policy, revenue generated from surplus property sales must be deposited into the Capital Budget for allocation to acquire real estate and/or for other capital projects.
