The Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education will hold its monthly committee meetings on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a Public Hearing on the Minimum Foundation Program for FY 2013-2014.

Meetings may be convened up to 30 minutes earlier than posted times in order to facilitate the orderly flow of business.

 

The Board will have its regular monthly Board Meeting the following day, Wednesday, January 16, 2013, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

 

All meetings will be held The Louisiana Purchase Room (Room 1-100) of the Claiborne Building, 1201 North Third Street, Baton Rouge 70802.

  • Public recommendations for FY 2013-2014 Minimum Foundation Program (MFP) formula (revised item)
  • Pending before BESE, at the later meeting of the Administration and Finance Committee, is a proposed series of changes to the MFP formula calculations with respect to special education, gifted and talented, at-risk, and early graduating students
