Since North Dakota is one of our favorite states, it always amazes us that it's often the last state many people visit!
But oh, the history that happened here: follow the paths of legendary North Dakotans Teddy Roosevelt, Lewis & Clark, Sacagawea, and George Armstrong Custer. The itinerary also explores legendary places like the world's only International Peace Garden, Fort Mandan, where Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery wintered in 1804-05, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the only NPS park named for a person. We'll explore the Scandinavian heritage of the state, a bison herd with three genuine white buffalo, a Viking Ship which actually crossed the Atlantic (but from the New World to the Old) plus much more!
