Quote of the Month
Life is not a spectator sport.
If you're going to spend
your whole life in the grandstand just watching what goes on,
in my opinion
you're wasting your life.

Guaranteed Departures

October  2015

We're rolling out the first of many new programs for 2016 in this issue, and looking forward to seeing you on the trail in the coming months.  If you traveled with us this year and have some photos to share, we'd love to print them!  Let us hear from you.

2016 Buffalo Roundup Dates

This year's roundup was one of the best ever and we are already preparing for next year's festivities.  Pictured here is tour director Doris Bean, filling in participants on what to expect in the adventure ahead.  As often happens, about half of these pre-historic beasts decided they'd rather not be herded in to the corral, so we had some bonus excitement, and first-hand lessons in herd-management of these wild mammals.  If you missed it, registration is now open for the 2016 tour package, Sept. 28-Oct. 3.

Goin' to Kansas City
May 14-20, 2015

Kansas City has been called the Paris of the Plains, the City of Fountains, and - during World War II -  the Crossroads of America.  This seven-day destination program offers free time and optional activities so you can customize your experience in this vibrant mid-western city.  Unpack once, stay in a lovely boutique-style hotel in the heart of the action, and learn about the city's pivotal place in American history.  You'll be convinced that "everything's up to date in Kansas City"!  Request your registration packet today.

Over the years we have had many requests to offer this epic journey earlier in the summer to better fit the schedules of teachers and students.  We heard you!    This year's adventure is scheduled for July 15-30.  Don't miss this opportunity to experience what Thomas Jefferson called the greatest adventure in American history.  Send for your registration packet today.
