September 2014

Autumn is a busy time here in the Black Hills.  Visitors are drawn by smaller crowds, natural beauty and events such as the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup set in the backdrop of the changing of the seasons.  But we are also occupied here in the office answering group and individual requests for the months ahead.  Read on for travel ideas in the coming months.

Buffalo Roundup Named Top Event in the US

Once again Custer State Park's buffalo roundup has been included in ABA's Top 100 Events - this time landing in the number one spot in the nation!  This year's event hasn't even taken place yet but registrations for next year are already coming in.  Be sure to register early for next year's popular event, scheduled for Sept. 23-28.  2015 is also the 50th anniversary of the roundup itself, and it's sure to sell out early.
