Journeys of Exploration & Discovery |
Greetings!
Since our last issue, I had the privilege of hosting an online webinar about our tours in the Great American West. It's always a pleasure to talk about travel opportunities in my favorite part of the country and to introduce our unique itineraries to new markets. Each week is a different topic. If you are a seller of travel and would like to sign up for one of the weekly webinars (or view an archived one) go to TAP Into Tuesdays. |

 Supplier Spotlight
Many of you know that Dances With Wolves was filmed in South Dakota. But did you know that the star and Academy Award-winning director, Kevin Costner, fell in love with the state and has invested in many ventures here. Tatanka: the Story of the Bison is an outstanding sculpture and interpretive center which we include on every visit to Deadwood. If you're coming for the Buffalo Roundup this year, you'll get to see for yourself. |
Drury Wins Another One!
One of our favorite hotel companies - and a TAP Preferred Supplier - has been ranked first in Customer Satisfaction by the Market Hospitality Index. The best part of this award is that Drury is a family-owned upper midscale hotelier and it topped nine upscale hotel brands including Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Kimpton and Fairmont! Those of you travellng the Lewis & Clark Trail with us this season will be staying in two of these wonderful hotels. |
New North Dakota Video Introduced
In a previous life I was a documentary producer and scriptwriter, but my skills have grown rusty while technology has exploded. So it was with some trepidation that I approached the production of my own promo for our Legendary North Dakota tour (July 21-27). I needn't have worried. Thanks to incredible software now available we have an exciting new marketing tool which showcases the state and the tour beautifully. Enjoy!
