Journeys of Exploration & Discovery |
Greetings!
I just returned from the annual American Bus Association conference in Charlotte, NC, attended by 3,000 travel industry tour operators, suppliers & destinations! The seminars, mingling and personal appointments are a great way to learn what's new in the industry so I can prepare better itineraries for you. I can't wait to get started planning for 2014 and beyond. |
Lewis & Clark Update
Inquiries and requests for registration packets for the August 2-17 Lewis & Clark Trail program have increased since we announced this year's departure. However, I'm afraid that inquiries or even requests for a registration packet don't count as bookings, and we need a minimum of 15 passengers to operate this program. The good news is that we're already half way there with seven months to go. If you have a packet but haven't returned your confirmation yet, please send it in. Early bird discounts apply and you could be on your way to the experience of a lifetime! |
Legendary North Dakota
If you keep a list of all the states you have yet to visit, North Dakota is probably on it. You can check that one off, July 21-27, after you explore where the legends come alive! |
SpecTAPular Events
Here's a fun video for the parade and celebration our Vietnam Veterans never got. Join us in Pigeon Forge, TN, April 15-18 for the parade, reunion events, star-studded musical tributes plus Adrian Cronaur, the Voice of Armed Forces Radio, made famous by Robin Williams in the film, Good Morning, Vietnam. |

What If?
In my book, Lewis & Clark spent a great deal of their journey west pretty much lost. Part of the fun of scrutinizing their expedition is learning about their near-misses, coincidences, separations and miraculous reunions (out in the middle of NOWHERE!) Here's one that is often missed by the history books. |
