Hugs for Cubs!  Surf Brewery was 'on deck' at Santa Barbara's Chuck's Waterfront Grill in a celebration of the Santa Barbara Foresters 2012 National Championship.  The Foresters are a National Championship baseball team that sponsors an ongoing "buddy" program for children battling cancer. Their mission is to create memories for, and give strength to, kids battling something much tougher than a nasty curve ball.

On March 22nd Surf Brewery will be on tap at Santa Barbara's Maritime Museum' s Membership drive. Annual membership allows access to the museum's collection, exhibits and educational programs, while helping the museum fulfill its mission to preserve and celebrate the Central Coast's maritime history.

The Beginning Home Brew class will be offered at Surf Brewery on March 23.  This class is designed for the absolute beginners and those who have brewed a few batches and want to improve their beer. The complete extract brewing process will be covered.   You will walk away from this class ready to brew your own  beer. This class is $25 and includes a 10% coupon in Surf's Home Brew Shop. To sign up talk to the Home Brew attendant or email the instructor directly at Garrrett@surfbrewery.com.
