Hope Heals! Surf Brewery was proud to be a part of the Hope Heals Celebration! Hope Heals is a socially conscious, jewelry making, family business based in Ojai. Love Heals has a long history of tying charity to each piece. For each piece sold ten trees are planted in Ethiopia and today over 1 million trees have been planted! Guests of this charity event allowed Hope Heals to sponsor fifty trees to be planted! What a worthy cause!

Do you like to learn how to brew beer? On January 19th Surf Brewery is offering a Beginning Home Brew class. This class is designed for absolute beginners as well as those who want to improve their beer, The complete extract brewing concept will be covered, including ingredients, equipment, boil, fermentation and packaging. You will walk away from this class ready to brew your first batch! The class is $25 and includes a thorough handout and a 10% off coupon in Surf's Home Brew Shop. Classic R&B duo, Dockweiller Jones Duo, starts off the new year, performing on the 5th. On the 12th will bring Gypsy jazz band, Swing Cheese will perform and on the 19th brings us acoustic blues and jazz band, Barrellhouse Wailers. Blues band, Catfish Band finishes off the month performing on the 26th.
