Healthy Eating - Helping you Prepare for Final Exams!

With final exams just around the corner, make sure you're prepared by studying hard, getting plenty of rest and enjoying healthy meals and snacks. Try this easy and delicious.

Bagel Crunch as a quick snack or meal. The carbohydrates from the bagel, apple and maple syrup will give your brain a boost and the protein from the walnuts will make your energy last!

You'll need:

1 whole grain bagel

2 tbsp light cream cheese

2 tbsp walnut pieces

1 apple, sliced

2 tbsp maple syrup

Slice the bagel in half and toast. Spread cream cheese on each half of bagel. Top with walnut pieces and press lightly into cream cheese. Top with sliced apple and drizzle with maple syrup. Makes 2 servings.

Tip: For more protein and calcium use ricotta or cottage cheese instead of cream cheese. You can also use an English muffin instead of a bagel
