REEL KASTING JOBS- 8 year old boy for Video Game Trailer
I am shooting a web video / trailer for a video game. I need cast an 8 years old boy that can react. We are not super picky on hair color/features other than being able to pull of the facial expression of awe nicely.
Below is the shot we are matching up against from the story board. He reacts and opens a door or opens a door and reacts. No true speaking lines - "oh" "ahh"
Rate: $200.00 for the day
Shoot date plan to shoot the trailer on the 29th or 30th of the month in the morning. We will pick the exact day based on weather as the date gets closer.
The shoot will be an early AM shoot in Central Brevard County.

PART I - LIVING TRUTHFULLY
Duration: 15 weeks (30 total classes)
Experience Level: No prior experience needed! This approach is for any artist, whether this is your very first acting class, or even if you've been in the industry for years. The great thing about this approach is that even though everyone begins the approach from the beginning, each artist is on their own path and you can work at your level.
At Truthful Acting, we wholeheartedly believe in the words of Sanford Meisner when he said, "Who you truly are is magnificent and totally unique."
Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening.
Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, you will learn to trust your instincts and live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
Classes begin Monday, August 26th and will be held twice a week on Monday and Thursday
with daytime or nighttime classes available.

There have been many questions on How to Read the newsletter.
1 Our newsletter consists of Paid and Non Paid jobs. We cater to all levels of Acting Talent, so that everyone can gain experience while we negotiate our next Casting Job.
2. When you get Job Leads- YOU MUST VALIDATE ALL OF THESE LEADS.. This means we have gone out and searched for job leads but have not checked them to see if the company is good or legit. THEY ARE ONLY LEADS.
3. Craigslist email addresses do not allow picture or resume submission.. Just email your web link (actors access, personal acting site) with a letter of interest. Tell them you would be happy to send over current pictures to a regular email.
4. Only submit to jobs one time.. Sometimes We get overwhelmed with submissions and can not nor do we have the staff to reply to all the emails or field phone calls. This is with all productions.

DANCERS 9 -13 years old (New Orleans)We are a non profit organization aimed at fighting childhood obesity. Our mission is to help fight child obesity and teach kids to lead a healthy lifestyle through dance fitness and proper nutrition. We are seeking kids between the ages of 9 and 13 to participate in a dance fitness workout.
We are holding an Open audition next Wednesday, August 14th, at the East Jefferson Wellness Center on Houma Blvd. in Metairie at6:45pm . The shoot itself has not been scheduled yet.

Introduction to Industry - 10am - 12pm The Introduction to Industry Seminar is an overview of how the industry works including the best ways to approach an audition, your best networking tools, how to get an agent and most importantly everything it entails to book work as an actor. After an informative lecture Lance Nichols will hold a 30 minute Question and Answer period.
Marketing Yourself Seminar - 1pm - 3pm The Marketing Yourself Seminar teaches how to best market yourself as an Actor. Students will learn how to format a resume/headshot properly, the importance of a demo reel and how to get it seen, the importance of representation and how to stay current in an expanding market. Attendees will have the last 30 minutes for a Question and Answer period.

Hit Playwright Joseph Alan Johnson-
MISCONCEPTION Opens at Venue Theatre
St. Petersburg, June 30-Venue Theatre is proud to present a new and exciting comedy, opening Friday, August 2, 2013. Misconception is the newest play in a string of hits by local actor and hit playwright Joseph Alan Johnson. The play runs from Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 18. Curtain opens on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 3:00 p.m.
Misconception is a sexy supernatural comedy about a young Hollywood couple who get more than they bargained for when they discover that the apartment of their dreams is haunted.
The cast features: Brick, Karleigh Chase, Elaine Cloud Goller, Daniel H. Harris and Darrin Ortiz.

Mr. Johnson, a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, is an award-winning performer. This is the seventh play he has written to be performed in Tampa Bay over the last twelve years.
