working with show producers, Technical team and anchor team.
This position requires someone who can work well under pressure and
make good decisions quickly. The Associate Producer should have
internet experience, in terms of using the web to research stories,
being able to write content for the television show and other areas in
the social media. The Associate Producer must be willing to work
different schedules including overnight, weekends, and holidays, as
well as other duties as assigned. Review production schedule and
editorial content for shows
Coordinate specific production and staffing needs for broadcasts,
including editing as needed. The Associate producer should be able to
review original editorial content for the piece or package that will
be used during the show or newscast.
The Associate Producer shall attain a solid knowledge of all show
elements; how they work and how they are applied within a show as well
as providing story ideas and suggestions to improve broadcasts on a
regular basis.
Job Functions:
* Create rundown content of a weekly TV show based on different
categories of TV concept previously created: Sports, health,
community, immigration, tourism, entertainment. Every week the show
must have different segments from the categories mentioned.
* Call guests (English or Spanish) and setup a preview interview
by phone. The script of interviews must be written in Microsoft Word
with letterhead of the company and with standard format showing: Date,
Time, Title, Duration, Possible air time. This must be done for
interviews in the studio and/or on location.
* This script must be taken to the studio for the live interview
or in the case of location must be given to the editor as a reference.
* Create contacts with possible guests for TV show and Magazine.
* Research and create new segments for the show. Also research
for information that can be given to the audience. This will open
interaction with the audience.
* Rundown must be setup with the times and order of sequence for
TV show. It is important to track guest information and titles and any
other information that could be relevant to the production crew.
* Write the teleprompter for TV show keeping in mind special
events and creative content. The prompter must be reviewed by the
Senior producer before going on the air. The prompter must be printed
and have it ready with all the other material for the Show.
* Write the promo script, which should be recorded before the
daily show. This script must be reviewed by Senior producer.
* Details about shots, studio setup, special items, music, etc.
should be discussed with the Technical Director and the rest of the
crew.
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications General computer skills in order to work:
EZ-NEWS, News Channel, Project Management Softwares etc.
* Solid editing, writing and production principals.Three years
of experience working live TV broadcasts or five years of experience
working in television.

Experience:
5 years of demonstrated successful experience in entertainment
