Experience Level: No prior experience needed! This approach is for any artist, whether this is your very first acting class, or even if you've been in the industry for years. The great thing about this approach is that even though everyone begins the approach from the beginning, each artist is on their own path and you can work at your level.
At Truthful Acting, we wholeheartedly believe in the words of Sanford Meisner when he said, "Who you truly are is magnificent and totally unique."
Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening.
Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, you will learn to trust your instincts and live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
Classes begin May 7th and will be held twice a week on Monday and Thursday
with daytime or nighttime classes available.

There have been many questions on How to Read the newsletter.
1 Our newsletter consists of Paid and Non Paid jobs. We cater to all levels of Acting Talent, so that everyone can gain experience while we negotiate our next Casting Job.
2. When you get Job Leads- YOU MUST VALIDATE ALL OF THESE LEADS.. This means we have gone out and searched for job leads but have not checked them to see if the company is good or legit. THEY ARE ONLY LEADS.
3. Craigslist email addresses do not allow picture or resume submission.. Just email your web link (actors access, personal acting site) with a letter of interest. Tell them you would be happy to send over current pictures to a regular email.
4. Only submit to jobs one time.. Sometimes We get overwhelmed with submissions and can not nor do we have the staff to reply to all the emails or field phone calls. This is with all productions.

This hilarious family comedy, by the author of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," follows Nick who tries to tell his doting Grandparents that he is moving to pursue his life away from "home."

ACTING WORKSHOP How to Make An Authentic & Lasting Impression On Purpose Productions is hosting a Casting Workshop for Actors at Full Sail University with "Sopranos" star David Proval DATE: April 26 & 27 FOR: Actors ages 13+ LOCATION: Full Sail University TUITION: $185.00 TIME: 2 Workshop times are being offered: Friday 4/26 4pm-8pm OR Saturday 4/27 10:30am-2:30pm STUDENT CRITERIA: All students attending this workshop must consider themselves to be a "dedicated" actor. All levels of experience are welcome. This workshop is ideal for the actor who is interested in Film & TV. This is not a commercial workshop. Limited spaces! Register by March 18th! WORKSHOP INFO: Learn what decision-makers (producers and casting) are looking for when you audition. And then learn how to take your craft to a deeper level by challenging yourself and receiving feedback from a seasoned pro. Actors will be provided with sides 1 day prior to the Workshop. INSTRUCTORS: STEFANIE KLEINE & DAVID PROVAL STEFANIE KLEINE: Stefanie is the Managing Partner of On Purpose Productions, a Film & Television Production Company. Stefanie has worked both on and off the camera so she understands the inner-workings of the business as Well as the artistry of being an actor. Most frequently working as an Executive Producer, Stefanie also takes a strong interest in the casting of various projects. She cast the 2012 TV pilot "Shrink Rap" and is proud to say that nearly half of the cast came from workshops she facilitated. On Purpose Productions is slated to shoot another TV pilot and a feature film in 2013. DAVID PROVAL: David Proval launched his acting career with a starring role in Mean Streets (1973), directed by Martin Scorsese, and has been working nonstop ever since. Notable features in which he has appeared include The Phantom, The Brady Bunch Movie, Four Rooms, The Shawshank Redemption, and Miss Congeniality 2. He is perhaps most well-known for his recurring role on the hit TV series "The Sopranos." David is shooting 5 films in 2013. He has worked as Eddie Murphy's on-set acting coach amongst others.
