Duration: 15 weeks (30 total classes)
Experience Level: No prior experience needed! This approach is for any artist, whether this is your very first acting class, or even if you've been in the industry for years. The great thing about this approach is that even though everyone begins the approach from the beginning, each artist is on their own path and you can work at your level.
At Truthful Acting, we wholeheartedly believe in the words of Sanford Meisner when he said, "Who you truly are is magnificent and totally unique."
Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening.
Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, you will learn to trust your instincts and live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
Classes begin May 7th and will be held twice a week on Monday and Thursday
with daytime or nighttime classes available.

Camera person (Renaissance Hotel @ Sea World ) I
am looking to hire someone to be paid hourly to help me video, mostly
b roll, a convention on Saturday June 22nd, and Sunday June 23rd.
Preferably someone with a 7D camera so that formats will be consistent
(that's what I will be using to shoot). This person's set up would
include a professionally mounted zoom mic, or a shotgun mic,
stabilizer/body mount, and probably a monitor, maybe even a good
light, tripond, and why not a wireless mic too (not a deal breaker at
all)? There will probably be sufficient light, but if you have
something to attach to your camera, that's fine. Furthermore, if you
don't have 7D, but rather like a Sony steady cam, that could be just
swell. I will convert files when the time comes. Since I only have the
capability to shoot sit down interviews, I will focus on that, but I
would like this camera person to roam around and capture the overall
event.
I don't think this should cost more than $25 per hour for a 7/8 hr
day. I need to get this person hired and set up by Sunday Please.
It's for a documentary film about a holistic health modality and we
are covering the annual convention of the therapists who provide it.
