Duration: 15 weeks (30 total classes)
Experience Level: No prior experience needed! This approach is for any artist, whether this is your very first acting class, or even if you've been in the industry for years. The great thing about this approach is that even though everyone begins the approach from the beginning, each artist is on their own path and you can work at your level.
At Truthful Acting, we wholeheartedly believe in the words of Sanford Meisner when he said, "Who you truly are is magnificent and totally unique."
Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening.
Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, you will learn to trust your instincts and live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
Classes begin May 7th and will be held twice a week on Monday and Thursday
with daytime or nighttime classes available.

Don Slaton is considered to be One of the Southeast's most experienced and skilled casting directors. His successful career in Atlanta is the result of the extensive experience and skills he developed during his fifteen year New York career. Actor, Agent, Casting Director, Teacher. His ten year acting career included seven Broadway shows,( Bye, Bye Birdie, Seventeen, Best Foot Foreward, Gypsy, West Side Story, Hot September, Hello Dolly, Half A Sixpence) a command performance at the White House for President Johnson; "The Ed Sullivan Show", "The Hollywood Palace", " The Patty Duke Show", a Safeguard Soap commercial and a screen test for a lead in the Twentieth Century Fox
production of "Hello, Dolly." Don worked as a 'working actor' for ten years and went on to manage several off-Broadway shows, before being hired as a talent agent for The William Schuyler Agency. He has cast many commercials that have gone on to win critical advertising awards, including a Clio for Delta Airlines, an Addy for Dumbhead Pants, and an award for talent in a jeep commercial "Coming Home" at the Chicago Film Festival.
