Duration: 15 weeks (30 total classes) Experience Level: No prior experience needed! This approach is for any artist, whether this is your very first acting class, or even if you've been in the industry for years. The great thing about this approach is that even though everyone begins the approach from the beginning, each artist is on their own path and you can work at your level. OVERVIEW At Truthful Acting, we wholeheartedly believe in the words of Sanford Meisner when he said, "Who you truly are is magnificent and totally unique." Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening. Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, you will learn to trust your instincts and live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
Classes begin May 7th and will be held twice a week on Tuesday and Friday with daytime or nighttime classes available.

We Posted an ad and a talent brought it to our attention.
Never Ending Casting Call for a Feature Film Love Fairies. They are booking people and making them put a $100.00 deposit down on the role.

Casting Leading Man and Supporting Actress For Short Film
(Tampa, fl) We are casting for two roles in our short film
"Shovel" -- the leading man and a supporting actress. We have an
extremely small budget so it's a non-paying gig. The shooting date is

Synopsis:
Frightened by her boyfriend's darkening mood and plans to use a
shovel he always carries around with him, Betty demands that William
give up either his plans or their relationship. Unable to continue on
in the emptiness of their life together, William walks off into an
infinite darkness where he's stalked by a menacing figure. He seeks
safety on the well lit porches of two women, but they cannot save him.
He steps back into the darkness, to face the dark figure and an
infinite unknown.
William -- Male -- Age 21-32:
Having been evicted by his girlfriend, William is dumped into an
endless darkness, armed only with a shovel. Stalked by a menacing
figure, William stumbles upon two well lit porches. But the women who
inhabit them are unable to save him -- the dark emptiness of 'out
there' is trapped inside him. He sets out into the darkness one last
time, lost and terrified, but willing to die free before The Figure
rather than live a meaningless life trapped on a porch.

Laura lives on an invitingly-feminine front porch, refusing to enter
the untended mess that exists behind her front door. She denies that
any world exists beyond her porch, yet she waits for a man to appear
from 'out there' and make her happy. Laura denies the instinct telling
her she must enter into the dark unknown, and when William comes and
threatens to bring the darkness onto her porch, she must choose
between his company and a false sense of safety.

independent miniseries/movie which centers around the heart of Miami.
It is an urban crime drama that could be compared the TV show "The
Wire" and the movie "Belly". We currently have a lead camera man and
production company based out of LA and are shooting with a Cannon 5D
Mark II. We need a high quality pilot & trailer to solicit funding
in the private and public sectors. This would be great for your resume
and could turn into something very nice if it all comes together as

Synopsis:
An aspiring music artist & entrepreneur (and his crew) are
suspected of illegal escort, immigration & drug activities from
Miami's Immigration Control & Enforcement department. The crew
indeed is doing some things that do not seem ethical or legal from the
outside, but seldom are things the way they appear. From huge parties
to sex and drugs, trips to the islands and through the underworld of
Miami, a tale of loyalty, lust, deception & espionage remind us
how it's hard to even know, let alone do what's right living in a Sea
of Sin.
Crew:
We are looking to fill our crew up with motivated, experienced and
creative people who can contribute and help us achieve the. We need
lighting & sound equipment. And we would like to find someone with
an additional Cannon 5D Mark II or RED (or something very similar) to
help us take this to another level and expand filming techniques.
Cast:
We have some core cast as well but are open to any actors/actresses
who are in Miami or can come to miami mid May. We need a variety of
characters.

STUDENT CRITERIA: All students attending this workshop must consider themselves to be a "dedicated" actor. All levels of experience are welcome. This workshop is ideal for the actor who is interested in Film & TV. This is not a commercial workshop.

And then learn how to take your craft to a deeper level by challenging yourself and receiving feedback from a seasoned pro. Actors will be provided with sides 1 day prior to the Workshop. STEFANIE KLEINE: Stefanie is the Managing Partner of On Purpose Productions, a Film & Television Production Company. Stefanie has worked both on and off the camera so she understands the inner-workings of the business as Well as the artistry of being an actor. Most frequently working as an Executive Producer, Stefanie also takes a strong interest in the casting of various projects. She cast the 2012 TV pilot "Shrink Rap" and is proud to say that nearly half of the cast came from workshops she facilitated. On Purpose Productions is slated to shoot another TV pilot and a feature film in 2013.
DAVID PROVAL: David Proval launched his acting career with a starring role in Mean Streets (1973), directed by Martin Scorsese, and has been working nonstop ever since. Notable features in which he has appeared include The Phantom, The Brady Bunch Movie, Four Rooms, The Shawshank Redemption, and Miss Congeniality 2. He is perhaps most well-known for his recurring role on the hit TV series "The Sopranos." David is shooting 5 films in 2013. He has worked as Eddie Murphy's on-set acting coach amongst others. David also teaches an ongoing advanced acting class in Hollywood.
