INDUSTRY NOTICES:
Dear Nancy McBride,
Thank you for always keeping us up to date on productions in the community.
I am in a stage play at the Straz Center in Tampa and was wondering if would be
possible to add the information to your email blast please.
The Good Doctor
This Broadway hit is a composite of Neil Simon and Anton Chekhov. In one sketch a harridan storms a bank and upbraids the manager for his gout and lack of money. In another, a father takes his son to a house where he will be initiated into the mysteries of sex, only to relent at the last moment and leave the boy more perplexed than ever. In another sketch, a crafty seducer goes to work on a wedded woman, only to realize that the woman has been in command from the first overture. Let us not forget the classic tale of a man who offers to drown himself for three rubles. The stories are droll, the portraits affectionate, the humor infectious and the fun unending.

With help from A Cut Above Video Premiere Theaters/Oaks 10 in Melbourne Florida is offering screen time to any independent filmmaker, who would like to have their short production, five minutes or less, seen before the movies shown at Premiere Theaters. This opportunity is especially impressive because Premiere Theaters has just upgraded to new 4K projectors, some new screens and an upgraded sound system, which will make your production look the best it can. There is no cost to submit; the only cost to filmmakers, who are accepted for screening, is a $60 encoding fee to cover some of the cost to organize and encode the video for screening through the digital cinema projectors.
Have your production seen the way it should be... in the theater on a BIG screen with BIG sound. For more information go towww.ACutAboveVideo.com/Indie.
