Mix Engineer (ORlando) Heres what Im looking for. Sound Engineer who specializes in session mixing primarily. I have been around or in the majority of studios in the Orlando area for years and years and still send product for mixing to various studios. However currently we are looking for a continuous in house mix engineer to mix down material as we complete it. Ideally this is perfect for a younger individual still looking for work and opportunity. I have a team that currently produces a high energy live stage show project with in house original audio production, visual content production, lighting direction, high level DJs, and other various skill sets at our disposal. Projects will be for pay, but we are ultimately looking for someone to fit within the team. I have a handful of professional mix engineers we already use from time to time, but again, looking for someone to be in house due to amount of work and speed on needed finished product. There is no shortage of Recording arts grads in this town, with little opportunity for a very saturated market. If you are still in the Orlando area, good at MIXING, not part time mixing, part time beat making, and looking for opportunity, hit me up. I can explain in more detail as well as send plenty of examples of this project. Please only serious inquiries need apply!!! INDUSTRY NOTICES:
Dear Nancy McBride,
Thank you for always keeping us up to date on productions in the community.
I am in a stage play at the Straz Center in Tampa and was wondering if would be
possible to add the information to your email blast please.
The Good Doctor
This Broadway hit is a composite of Neil Simon and Anton Chekhov. In one sketch a harridan storms a bank and upbraids the manager for his gout and lack of money. In another, a father takes his son to a house where he will be initiated into the mysteries of sex, only to relent at the last moment and leave the boy more perplexed than ever. In another sketch, a crafty seducer goes to work on a wedded woman, only to realize that the woman has been in command from the first overture. Let us not forget the classic tale of a man who offers to drown himself for three rubles. The stories are droll, the portraits affectionate, the humor infectious and the fun unending.
