Gnarly
Character Sheet.
PARKER* - (25) A good guy
with everything going for him. Parker is a semi-pro surfer on the rise
and has the love of his life by his side. He comes from a rich family
but struggles to fulfill his dream from his tormented past. Hazel-eyes
preferred. Parker is friends with everyone and MUST BE LIKEABLE. There
is nothing Parker wouldn't do for his girlfriend Kori. Must know how
to surf and be able to evoke a WIDE VARIETY of emotion on the spot.
This role will require a lot of your time and need to come as a
priority when we begin filming. SERIOUS, DEDICATED, ACTORS need only
apply.
KORI - (24) a hazel-eyed, dark haired
goddess with the innocence and vulnerability only a virgin could
possess. Kori is Parkers' long time girlfriend. From the outside she
looks perfect but with a second glance it is obvious she is damaged.
Very naive and cautious. She has had a rough life until she met
Parker. He is her rock, her lover, her
everything.
OZ - (28) an obnoxious git who
has a weird obsession with Parker. and is constantly seeking his
approval. Oz tries way too hard. Muscle-bond and full of rage. Total
D-bag, but someone you want on your side. Arrogant, loud, and tries
way too hard.
MILES - (25) a good-looking,
long-haired surf rat who has been best friends with Parker since
birth. Boyfriend of Mischa. Very laid back and nonchalant about
everything. Typical surfer bro. Blonde, long hair with a dark tan.
Epitomizes this culture.
MISCHA - (23) a hot
blonde with a great body and the ability to rip waves. Miles and
Mischa have been dating since high school. She is a Roxy model and
total bitch. Very competitive and opposite of Miles. High strung and
sometimes annoying when she doesn't get her own way. Rich and
spoiled.
KIRA - (16) a blonde headed (maybe
red) perfect picture of a young teenage girl surfer. Sweet as can be
but if evoked can be fatal. Kira is the sweet surfer girl next door.
Very young but very mature. There is something strange and almost fake
about her. She is almost too sweet.
SASHA -
(Late 20s) A surf-rat with a vicious attitude. Her hatred towards men
and arrogant demeanor are almost as evident as her sex
appeal.
ROCA - (Late 20s )He is of Jamaican
decent and very funny. Good comedic timing is a must. Long dread locks
and an easy going demeanor.
JESSE - (30s) The
bad ass. A bald head muscle bond angry surfer. He doesn't say much but
his actions speak louder than most peoples
words.
WATSON - (30s) An overgrown softy that
bows down to the feet of Kira. Security guard type with force from
power alone, not skill.
DR. PARKER (50s) -
Dr. Parker is middle-aged but has maintained his boyish good looks. He
is very wealthy and consumed by temptation. He is very rational and
close-minded; a very conservative
republican.
MRS. PARKER - (Late 20s-Early
30s) Surfer mom. Very sweet with an award winning smile. Loving,
caring, beautiful. She has a gypsy soul with a heart of
gold.
DENISE - (50s) She is small and petite
but has seen the toughest of fights. Her stoic demeanor is matched by
her vast knowledge and wisdom. Think of her as the "Guardian Angel"
type. She is soft spoken but speaks with a punch; very poetic and
heartfelt.
MARCUS (Late 20s)- His hustle is
almost as powerful as his network. Marcus is the main connect for most
of the town. He has a lot of money and is constantly on the go. Must
have a gangster swag.
ALLIE* (21) - Allie is
the younger sister of Oz. She must be adorable and intriguing to the
eye.
YOUNG PARKER - (5 years old) Hazel eyes
preferred. Must be extremely comfortable in
water.
TEENAGE PARKER - (12 years old) Hazel
eyes preferred. Must know how to
surf.
