PART I - LIVING TRUTHFULLY

Duration: 15 weeks (30 total classes)

Experience Level: No prior experience needed! This approach is for any artist, whether this is your very first acting class, or even if you've been in the industry for years. The great thing about this approach is that even though everyone begins the approach from the beginning, each artist is on their own path and you can work at your level.

OVERVIEW

At Truthful Acting, we wholeheartedly believe in the words of Sanford Meisner when he said, "Who you truly are is magnificent and totally unique."

Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening.

Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, you will learn to trust your instincts and live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.

Classes begin May 7th and will be held twice a week on Tuesday and Friday with daytime or nighttime classes available.

Film Description:
While
playing Hide and Go Seek at a playground with her friends, Melody
stumbles upon a group of faeries having a party. Film is silent, with
no dialogue. All roles are
unspeaking.
Casting will be held on February
10th and is by appointment only. Please email a copy of your headshot

be held on February 15th and filming will take place on the
17th.
All roles are unpaid, but food will be

Girls ages 5-18 to speak in documentary (Coral
Springs)
I am Spartacus Entertainment, LLC ("Baby Let Your
Hair Hang Down") is making a second documentary, a nonpartisan film
about contemporary civil liberties in America. The position is
nonpartisan, and the content is dictated by participant responses to
three broad questions. Officially in post-production, we have
determined we need a few young female perspectives to add to those
already shared by men and women ages 5-85 obtained in six states
(Oregon, California, Louisiana, New York, Nevada, and
Florida).
Interviews will be conducted
by the writer/director who is a certificated teacher in an office in
Coral Springs on a Friday or Saturday in the month of February.
Interviews with children ages 5-8 take about 15 minutes, and
interviews with children ages 9-18 take about 30-60
minutes.
Please note: it is extremely
important you not prep your child as we have been unable to use some
young participant's interviews due to their not fully understanding
what they are talking about regarding politics. We are looking for
authentic youthful perspectives.

closed casting for upcoming Feature THORNS AND ROSES. This film is
being prepared specifically for the film festival circuit in search of
exposure and distribution. We are seeking lead actors with speaking
parts. This is a low budget film so payment is deferred until

OVERVIEW OF THE FILM
Log:
"Thorns And Roses" is a multifaceted love affair between friends and
foes that will engage
you to travel back in time and make
sure no wrong deeds of yours would come back to hunt
you.
Although the plots are wicked and "Karma" best
identify its core, "Thorns And Roses" is
borderline
glamorous and sexy. Revenge, can taste as sweet as heaven's honey pot
but bitter, is
always the lasting after
taste.

2-ELLIOT:Elliot is Luke when
he was 14 years old. Actor has to match a near resemblance of LUKE,
Medium brown skinned, bright eyed, Brown hair, Between 5'11"-6'2".
Slender to athletic build. A mix between Will Smith and Bruno Mars.
We're looking for an 18-year-old male who can pass for q 14,15 or

Amy grew up with money but it
wasn't always used to be that way. She was an orphan before a middle
class family adopted her. She takes on a mission to save the life of a
dear friend, an older friend whom looked out for her when she was

Venue Theatre and Actors Studio, known throughout the area for the finest acting training, will hold several open house and registration opportunities over the next few weeks:

Adult Acting: Jan 2, 7 and 9; 7-10pm FREE Classes open to adults interested in learning about the studio. Age 18+
Kids ages 5-17; Saturday Jan 5, noon-4pm; includes Musical Theatre and all after school programs for Elementary, Middle and High School.
