JOB 1:
Looking for Australian voice and on-screen talent preferably from the Orlando area.
If we find voice actors outside Orlando, they need to have quality sound and the ability to digitally edit their reads if necessary. Preferable actors will be from Orlando as we like to have them come to the studio to do the read. However, talent may be from anywhere in the world (if voice actor only).
Preferably I'd like to have them in Orlando so we can do on-screen stuff but if they are voice actors only and they are remote and have a home studio, that's fine too.
As a reminder, our talent gets paid by the hour and we package several 1-2 minute scripts into each session. We don't pay per read....we pay per hour. The hourly rate is as follows:
One script session = $50 flat Multiple script session = $75 for the hour
Some sessions may only include one read, while others may include 12-15 for the hour. It all depends on the volume we have that week.
We do all the editing in post production. The talent simply reads the scripts in a tone which reflects the message. All sessions are recorded in ONE mp3. So, if we have 6 reads, they are all on on recording session which will be edited after the recording.
If mistakes are made, the talent just says "over" and repeats the last sentence. Same goes true when the talent isn't sure of the tone and wants to deliver the same sentence or word several different ways.
The talent should have some sort of editing skills if they work from their home studio. If we only send 3 reads that are 60 seconds each, that's only about 15 - 20 minutes of work (and that includes getting their software turned on, reading the scripts for practice, recording them, and exporting them to mp3 to send via email)... So, that said, in that situation, they should take the remaining 45 minutes editing the final audio for delivery to us. We pay the hourly rate for voicing and editing unless there isn't time for editing within the allotted hour.
I PREFER the talent to be in ORLANDO FL so they can come to our studio to record. However, if you find authentic talent in Australia itself, obviously, we can only do voice work with them. But we will add them to the talent pool for our clients to select from.
Email: reelkasting@gmail.com - You will get an email on how to submit your online audition.
Subject line: Voice Actor Job 1
IMPORTANT: The talent ALSO needs to send you a 30-60 second demo montage of past work. 5-7 second audio bits of various finished projects spliced together in one demo recording
____________________________________________________________________________________________
JOB 2- STILL TAKING SUBMISSIONS!!!
Additional Ongoing Talent Scouting:
We are also in the need of talented voice actors for cartoon animation voices. These cartoons are business type "explainer" videos. All the cartoon voice actors should be located in Orlando.
Must send online demos.

Werewolf feature film casting in Florida (Central/West Coast Florida)Predatory Moon is an extremely ambitious undertaking for a micro-budgeted production being shot in Florida in the spring of 2013. This unusual werewolf story is being directed by a professional FX artist and is going back to the "old school" creature days by using prosthetic makeups and 100% practical effects. (No CGI) To learn more about this unique film and the dedicated crew behind it, please visit the official website at http://www.predatorymoon.com
Auditions are being held on January 15 & 16 in Ormond Beach, Florida. Auditions are by appointment only. Please read the information below to apply.
This is a non-union feature film production. This is a volunteer cast only and there is no monetary compensation. Cast members will receive meals on set, demo reel footage, IMDB credit, and will also receive a copy of the finished film (upon its public release).
Predatory Moon is filming during the months of April and May of 2013 with most (but not all) of the shooting days being scheduled on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. The schedule will not allow for much flexibility and all cast members must be able to make a firm commitment to it. The cast will receive a final production schedule no later than two weeks before principle photography begins.
Most of the film will be shot in Tampa, New Port Richey, Spring Hill, Lakeland, and surrounding areas. We cannot provide lodging for cast members while filming in these areas. However, some roles will also require filming in the Ormond Beach area between April 25-April 29. (The character of "Kyle" will also be needed for a few days in late June/early July for filming a complicated FX sequence.) Lodging will be provided in Ormond Beach as needed during these days.
Some characters require heavy FX makeup and will be needed for a few days during pre-production (February-March) for life-casting, makeup tests, and costume fittings.
To apply for audition consideration, please visit our casting page at http://predatorymoon.com/casting-auditions or you can also reply to this listing and include the following information:
1. Your name, age, mailing address, e-mail, and telephone number. (And parent/guardian if under 18 years of age.) 2. Character you would like to audition for. (You may request to be considered for more than one part.) 3. Your head-shot or a recent photograph. 4. Your resume. (New actors are welcome to apply, but please let us know if you do not have a resume available.)
Audition requests that do not include all of the above-mentioned information will be discarded. Applicants may also be considered for smaller roles in the film that not listed here. __________________________
