VOICE OVER- ON GOING RECRUITMENT!!!- STILL TAKING SUBMISSIONS!!!
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

 JOB 1:

Looking for Australian voice and on-screen talent preferably from the Orlando area.

If we find voice actors outside Orlando, they need to have quality sound and the ability to digitally edit their reads if necessary.  Preferable actors will be from Orlando as we like to have them come to the studio to do the read.  However, talent may be from anywhere in the world (if voice actor only).

Preferably I'd like to have them in Orlando so we can do on-screen stuff but if they are voice actors only and they are remote and have a home studio, that's fine too.

As a reminder, our talent gets paid by the hour and we package several 1-2 minute scripts into each session. We don't pay per read....we pay per hour. The hourly rate is as follows:

One script session = $50 flat
Multiple script session = $75 for the hour

Some sessions may only include one read, while others may include 12-15 for the hour. It all depends on the volume we have that week.

We do all the editing in post production. The talent simply reads the scripts in a tone which reflects the message. All sessions are recorded in ONE mp3. So, if we have 6 reads, they are all on on recording session which will be edited after the recording.

If mistakes are made, the talent just says "over" and repeats the last sentence. Same goes true when the talent isn't sure of the tone and wants to deliver the same sentence or word several different ways.

The talent should have some sort of editing skills if they work from their home studio. If we only send 3 reads that are 60 seconds each, that's only about 15 - 20 minutes of work (and that includes getting their software turned on, reading the scripts for practice, recording them, and exporting them to mp3 to send via email)... So, that said, in that situation, they should take the remaining 45 minutes editing the final audio for delivery to us. We pay the hourly rate for voicing and editing unless there isn't time for editing within the allotted hour.

I PREFER the talent to be in ORLANDO FL so they can come to our studio to record.  However, if you find authentic talent in Australia itself, obviously, we can only do voice work with them.  But we will add them to the talent pool for our clients to select from.

Email:  reelkasting@gmail.com  - You will get an email on how to submit your online audition.

Subject line: Voice Actor  Job 1

IMPORTANT:  The talent ALSO needs to send you a 30-60 second demo montage of past work.  5-7 second audio bits of various finished projects spliced together in one demo recording

JOB 2-  STILL TAKING SUBMISSIONS!!!

Additional Ongoing Talent Scouting:

We are also in the need of talented voice actors for cartoon animation voices.  These cartoons are business type "explainer" videos.  All the cartoon voice actors should be located in Orlando.

Must send online demos.

TERMS (ADULT MALE)
CASTING CALL (Horror--Drama--Coming of
Age)
TERMS tells the story of a group of
young people living in Miller Hill medical facility who are given the
opportunity, for the first time, to take control of their
lives.
-ALL AUDITION SUBMISSIONS
WILL BE TURNED IN VIA VIDEO EITHER MAILED OR
UPLOADED
-Headshot and resume are required
for consideration
-Filming will take place in
the Fall of 2013. We are preparing a cast now as the ensemble is the
backbone of this film. It is a character study and therefore we need
to focus on our performers first.
-All roles
are paid. Travel expenses and accommodations will be
provided.
-filming will most likely take
place in Indiana so be prepared to travel if
accepted
1.) DR. WEXLER---MALE---Late
20's-Late 40's---Open
Ethnicity---SUPPORTING
Wexler is Miller
Hill's head doctor. It's his job to make sure his patients are
comfortable in their time at the institute. Funny, affable, all around
eager to help the teens in any way he can, but all his good intentions
are usually dashed. He's frustrated by his lack of progress and his
ineffectuality is beginning to take a toll on him. Has an emotional
journey ahead of him.
2.) MR. K---MALE---LATE
30's-40's---Open Ethnicity---SUPPORTING
Mr. K
is Miller Hill's groundskeeper. He knows the ins and outs of the
institution and probably knows more than he lets on. He does as he's
told to make that paycheck but it's clear he'd rather be somewhere
else. Blue collar, full of sass but still has a big heart, even if he
doesn't always get to show it. Mr. K is crucial to the
story.
3.) MR.
BRODY---MALE---LATE
50's-60's---Caucasian---SUPPORTING
Owner of
the local VHS video store, Brody is a relic of the past. True blue
"Dead Head" dude, Brody still digs on Tie-dye, his Walkman and VHS
tapes forever. Feels at home in sandals with socks and anyone who
doesn't dig can go screw.

1.)
FRANCINE---FEMALE---40's-60's---Open
Ethnicity---SUPPORTING
Francine is the
closest thing to a confidant that the teens of Miller Hill have. She's
the mother hen and the authoritarian but has a place in her heart for
all of the residents. Years of seeing them check in and sometimes
quickly check out have caused her to be guarded and develop her own
demons. Sad eyes, pleasant smile. Time has worn her down. Looking for
faces with lots of
character.
2.) NURSE
PARDUE---FEMALE---20's-40's---Caucasian---SUPPORTING
Nurse
Pardue is Miller Hill's resident bible thumper. Very much of the mind
that all the teen's need to get better is the power of Christ. She's a
mean spirited, hypocrite who is only interested in the almighty
dollar.
3.)
DEB---FEMALE---FEMALE---30's-40's---Caucasian---SUPPORTING
Remember
the nutty art, drama, English teacher you had? Well that's Deb times a
thousand. She's a kook with a capital K. Clueless, aloof, wide (bug)
eyed and in her own world, Deb thinks her "class" is allowing the
teens of Miller Hill to open up. . .sorry
Deb.
