Map as Art
Sunday, March 29, 1-4pm

Artists drew the first maps, and now in the 21st century more and more artists are turning to maps for a source for their art practice. In this map workshop you will explore maps for their drawing, painting and sculptural potential. Exercises involve mind mapping with words as well as using actual maps as a surface for your work. These activities include working with drawing materials, watercolour paints and collage elements.

Instructor: Wendy Welch
Cost: $65 (materials included)
