The end of the season...

The final shutters went on at Duck Bay just a week ago.  The boats are winterized and covered up on shore. What a tremendously busy, and great summer it has been.

Thanks to all who stayed with us this summer;  we are truly very grateful for your business!

2015 fishing report from guide Jimmy

Pat O'Brien (Ballwin, MO) with a 48 inch muskie.
Water levels were normal throughout the entire season, likely contributing to our fantastic fishing. Overall it was a really great season!

Lots of good sized muskies and northerns were caught with the muskie bite consistent all season long.  Walleyes were caught in large quantities in the mid-teens to low 20's. Crappie fishing was outstanding from mid-August to the end of the season.  Smallmouth in the 16-20 inch range were also abundant.

Overall, black and silver were the hot colors in spinnerbaits, while pink, orange and chartreuse jigs were the best colors; white started to work better later in the season.  Keep reading to find out the biggest of each species caught this year!
